Hilarious comedy by Ken Ludwig, author of Lend Me A Tenor and Moon Over Buffalo. The story unfolds as two English Shakespearean actors find themselves so down on their luck that they’re performing “Scenes from Shakespeare” on the Moose Lodge circuit in the Amish country of Pennsylvania. When they hear that an old lady in York, PA is about to die and leave her fortune to her two long lost English nephews, they resolve to pass themselves off as her beloved relatives and get the cash. With the talent search open to acts of all ages, “Got Talent” brings a two day variety format event to Wells Fargo Center for the Arts by showcasing unique performers from across the Bay Area. The shows are a true celebration of inspiration, featuring a colorful array of singers, dancers, and many other performers and hopeful stars as they display their brand of talent. Birthday party thank-you notes and summer-camp postcards blossom into a poignant 50-year friendship in A.R. Gurney’s Pulitzer Prize-nominated drama Love Letters. After a brief romance as teenagers, Andrew and Melissa go their separate ways yet continue to write each other as one goes on to become a U.S. senator and the other struggles to pursue her dream of being an artist. Now North Bay Stage Company presents this unique piece of theater that, in Gurney’s words, “needs no theatre, no lengthy rehearsal, no special set, no memorization of lines, and no commitment from its two actors beyond the night of performance.” Special guests will be featured each performance during the run of this funny and meaningful work. But Sugar Lee, their high-spirited, determined leader, has her hands full keeping the women motivated. The comic tension mounts so by the time the women rally together to overcome certain obstacles and launch their new, improved lives, you’ve got a side-splitting, joyful comedy that will make you laugh out loud and shout “Hallelujah!”. This production by North Bay Stage Company is presented cabaret-style, putting you inside the story as you experience a fictional seaside resort in time with the actors, along with the exotic tastes and looks from around the world. North Bay Stage Company presents a new production of BOUBLIL and SCHÖNBERG’S LES MISÉRABLES. Join us for one performance only, live, in-concert with limited staging in celebration of the 30th anniversary of Les Mis, the musical masterpiece. The show will feature on-stage some of the Bay Area’s finest performers along with a full orchestra.
Les Misérables is a sung-through musical based on the novel Les Misérables by French poet and novelist Victor Hugo. Relentless policeman Javert pursues escaped convict Jean Valjean over decades through the tumult of revolutionary France. Music by Claude-Michel Schönberg, original French lyrics by Alain Boublil and Jean-Marc Natel, with an English-language libretto by Herbert Kretzmer.
Les Misérables is licensed by Music Theatre International (MTI) by arrangement with CAMERON MACKINTOSH LTD. Tickets $59* and $44. *Includes VIP seating, post-show meet & greet, and reception in Carston Cabaret

Set in 1931 Berlin as the Nazis are rising to power, it is based in the nightlife at the seedy Kit Kat Klub, and revolves around the 19-year-old English cabaret performer Sally Bowles and her relationship with the young American writer Cliff Bradshaw. Overseeing the action is the Master of Ceremonies at the Kit Kat Klub. The club serves as a metaphor for the threatening state of late Weimar Germany. One of the most venerated musicals of all time. 2014 – By A.R. Gurney. Empty nesters Greg and Kate have moved back to Manhattan after twenty-two years in the suburbs. As Kate tells Greg: “The dog phase of my life is definitely over.” But life has a way of giving you what you think you don’t want.
Greg finds Sylvia, a street-smart lab/poodle mix, and brings her home. She promptly becomes a bone of contention between Greg and Kate, testing their marriage to hilarious and touching effect.

March 2015 – By Audie Foote.The heart-warming tale based on actual events of a woman alone in a terrible predicament in the middle of the night in the middle of nowhere and the stranger who comes to her rescue. It is a story of salvation and redemption on the gritty streets of New York City.

May 2015 – Based on a short story by Agatha Christie, deals with the trial of a man accused of murder of a wealthy older widow, named Emily French. Since Mrs. French made him her principal heir, not aware that he was a married man, things look bad for Leonard’s defense. But the final blow comes when someone close to him agrees to testify, not in Leonard’s defense, but as a witness for the prosecution. Agatha Christie wrote more best-selling crime novels than any other writer.

July 2015 – Book by Arthur Laurents, music by Leonard Bernstein and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, the musical is based on a dance-conception by Jerome Robbins. Hailed by critics as one of the major achievements in mid-century theatrical history, the musical is set in New York City in the 1950s, deals with rival gangs: the Jets and the Sharks. Tony and Maria, with ties to opposite sides of the conflict, fall in love and must deal with the fallout from their family and friends. West Side Story is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI, 421 W.54th St., New York.
